Meet Our Seattle Team
Dan has a successful track record of executive leadership, entrepreneurship, and angel investing in the financial services industry. He built online brokerage ShareBuilder to a $25 billion company with 1.6 million customers and guided the company through a smooth and synergistic integration. With decades of investment, mergers & acquisition experience, Dan is known for keeping a vision of the future in front of the employees and producing strong financial results. In his downtime, Dan cruises the open road on his Harley Davidson Road King.
Eric is a serial entrepreneur, having been a founding member of three title and settlement startups. He has overseen operations from Hawaii to Florida, engineering systems with a “People First, Technology Second” mindset, ensuring the company focuses on the actual challenges and opportunities that people are facing, before putting a technology solution in place. Eric is a licensed Washington state real estate agent, and still dabbles in the occasional “flip.” HGTV has not called.
David was a VP of engineering at Xome, launching their customer brand and mobile app. At Amazon.com, he ran the team who built the Amazon retail shopping app, used by millions worldwide. David was one of Redfin’s first customers and is passionate about transforming real estate with modern technology.
VP of Operations
Shawna has been in the title & escrow business for longer than she would like to admit (think decades). Shawna’s passion over the years has been fueled by leveraging next-gen technology to create a more perfect union between client experience and operational excellence. Shawna claims the keys to operational success is simple; the relentless management of process coupled with an authentic desire to motivate people. Focus on those two elements and the rest will follow.
Finance & Growth
Nate is a veteran of the Seattle finance scene with stops at Amazon and Mike’s Hard Lemonade. More recently, he focused on the startups with positions at Golazo and Porch. He is an avid golfer who also likes spreadsheets, due diligence, and stealthy fast cars.
EVP of Enterprise Sales
Kent’s leadership pedigree transcends numerous verticals. Known as a roll-up-your sleeve’s leader, Kent’s management prowess has played an integral role in overall growth, profitability and market value. From experience in established start-ups to the Fortune 500 variety, Kent relishes the opportunity to use a consultative approach in bringing companies and clients together! His passion for team-building and creating a ‘WIN-WIN’ for all, is the primary focus!
VP of People
Kellie has spent her career immersed in HR and talent acquisition and most recently was the Head of HR at Porch.com. Prior to Porch, she focused on attracting top engineering talent for Apex Systems and Google. Kellie enjoys the scrappy, fast-paced startup environment and believes success is determined by the people you bring along on the journey.
Snohomish and North King Counties
Arthur is the lead developer for JetClosing. He is a full stack developer with a UI focus who has worked with many different technologies during his career. He most recently worked for Amazon Business in building business features for Amazon.com, but previously has done mobile development, backend service development and database administration.
Head of Product
Lee’s business cards say things such as head of product management for mobile, search, commerce and advertising. He’s led product teams at several Seattle startups including Allrecipes, INRIX, Motricity and Infospace. He loves making crazy complex things beautifully simple.
Director, IT Operations
Charles was Director of IT at TalentWise, a startup SaaS provider in the background screening industry. There he established and managed the infrastructure environments for their SaaS platform offerings. Prior to that he worked in the insurance and financial industries as an IT Leader in various roles. Delivering and providing technology solutions that empower the business and improves productivity and efficiency is where he focuses his energy.
Software Development Engineer
Xiaodi is an engineer that helped ship apps at startups, Microsoft, and most recently, Inrix. His portfolio includes features in Office on Android, Office 2016, and Inrix Traffic. He is an avid gamer and Duke basketball fan.
Software Development Engineer
Chris is a seasoned developer with recent experience at two successful startups, RootMetrics and INRIX. He has experience working with a wide variety of technologies including: Android, ReactNative, AWS, and SQL Databases. In his spare time, he likes tackling DIY projects around the house and has a passion for cars.
Fullstack Software Engineer
Chris (Sully) has worked on many projects ranging from Bluetooth connected Fitness & Health devise trackers, real estate sales, 2D games, and a Mobile IDE to name a few. He enjoys Philosophy, listening to synthwave and learning more about entrepreneurship.
Senior Data Warehouse Engineer
Wally has been working in Data Warehousing since 2005 with stops at Expeditor’s, The Cobalt Group, ADP, and CDK Global. He has most of his experience in the automotive industry where he built out many different reporting models, from clickstreams and call tracking to advertising, inventory, and sales. He loves to play golf, coach football, and is an avid DYIer. Understanding data is where he creates solutions.
Sam helped launch Xome.com, working on CI/CD, scaling and infrastructure automation. Prior to that he helped integrate highly customized learning platforms at Scantron. He believes tough problems are some of the best things in life.
Information Technology Specialist
Mike is an up-and-coming technologist who has a passion for solving problems and helping others. Unlike most, he looks forward to tech issues – viewing them as a learning experience rather than an inconvenience. If he’s not busy scavenging the internet for solutions, you’ll likely find him watching Seattle sports or enjoying the occasional video game with friends.
Closing Production Manager
Stephanie has been in the escrow industry for the last 7 years, constantly challenging the way things are done to work smarter not harder. She’s driven to develop and manage processing teams that take the traditional escrow procedures and excel them in efficiency and transparency. This is her first time working at a startup and so far is thrilled with the flexibility and creativity put in everyday to make the company stand apart from the competition.
Director, Title Operations
Michael has been in the Title and Escrow Industry since 2006. A self-proclaimed “Title Geek”, Michael is passionate about helping buyers and sellers understand the ins and outs of Title Insurance and Land Ownership. Born and raised in the Puget Sound area, Michael is an avid Mariners and Seahawks fan and enjoys getting outdoors for a round of golf when the weather allows.
Director, Closing Operations
From her early days in Title & Escrow, Megan spent oodles of time daydreaming about better, faster, more efficient systems that she knew were a possibility. Fast-forward 16 years and she’s found her ideal niche at JetClosing: at the forefront of industry change and technology, endeavoring to make everyone’s experience as simple and positive as possible. Megan lives in Seattle with her husband, Will, and elderly pug, Persia. She adores pizza, karaoke, and exploring different parts of the world.
